Description This is a photo of the marsh at sunset near where I live. I am considering entering it into a local contest. Any feedback will be appreciated. I also want to dedicate this to one of the folks I watch who inspires me to keep trying to improve. I never miss reading one of his journals and keep up with his photography adventures. However, he feels us in the south are deprived because we do not have the fall colors like they do in Colorado. With all that said, I dedicate this to John.

I just found out that the photos I submit cannot have a name so I had to resubmit so I can order the photo. Sorry for any inconvenience

the wetlands and islands area here along lake erie in july, august and early september aren't much different from the southeastern U.S....lots of white egrets, blue herons and cranes wading thru the tall grass and water plants looking for a meal....about the only thing missing is alligators....

Enter it! It's very pretty.

I feel like we get cheated with the changing leaves, too, sometimes. A lot of time it'll be very warm and then suddenly very cold, and the tree's leaves just brown and fall off!

I'm going to order this print also. I can only enter three but will be ordering four different prints and then decided which I will eliminate. At least I will have them ready to send in.

We get some leave color change here but not a lot.

Yes, we southerns have a lot of beautiful scenery and warmer weather too! I was originally from Michigan so I appreciate both but I'm living in Georgia
