She really is a pretty cat. She was an owner surrender along with another cat. That is often quite hard on them since they are used to being in a home.

I'm not sure I understand the term "owner surrender"? Do you mean when owners are moving and voluntarily bring their cats in to the shelter?

Yes or they surrender them for other reasons...allergies, change in life style, etc.
