Description Another "blue print", this time of a Haku-Hasin knight's armour.
In an odd way it's also a tribute to a dear friend that passed away some years ago,Mark Wallace,(Also Known As Lord William Blackfox)who was a member of the S.C.A., a great cartoonist and a wonderful human being!

Thank you, I wanted to make something that was sexy, but practical.

I love the helmet design! One of the only realistic helmets for anthros that I've ever seen.

My many thanks!

I was inspired by the work of a dear friend (who has passed on) Mark Wallace (a.k.a. William Blackfox) some design work by Richard Konkle (King Boar) as well, and some design work of Hiyao Miyazaki. Credit due when it's earned.

We learn from each other .

Quite amazing! I would rely heavily upon wikipedia to figure out all of these terms but regardless, I like your flair for blending ye' ol' world and today, JC, well done!

I rescued an old dictionary from the 1930s/40s I found on the curb with other rubbish of a neighbor years ago. (the poor thing only goes up to some d and f words)But it had a lovely diagramme of the parts of a suit of armour in the old French/Norman terms.
Thank you for your kind remarks too M'Lady!
I thank heaven for spell check( I wonder if I have a mild form of dyslexia?)My spelling is atrocious!

I have always loved mixing the old with the new(even if it just to tick off the nit-pickers and fan boy snobs!)It's funny, but long before the term was coined I guess I was doing the Steam Punk thing!

Interesting to know this.
I utterly rely upon wikipedia and the net in general for my reference materials. Without them I'd have no clue what some of the technologies were regarding my Leiji inspired space battleships. XDDD

Speaking of steam punk, I've as of late, have gotten into steam punk and the genre, ever since I made my home burned DVD of Howl's Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki, another anime inspiration of mine beside Leiji san.

Miyazaki is great! Even his "so-so" stuff is heads and shoulders above a lot of his contemporaries!Him and Matsumoto are the best since Osamu Tezuka! And if memory serves me Tezuka was good friends with both gentlemen!
Well, it's late( I should have been in bed 2 hours ago!)I'll see you in the tomorrow time my dear!

Hasin gals have stronger heels and ankles than Earth/Human women, also it makes for a rather unpleasant surprise when the Hasin warrior maid plants it in the gut or groin of their foe. Also a thick heel makes climbing trees and scaling walls a snap!
Sometimes the heel can be removed from the boot for stealth and other purposes.

Who knows?
Maybe the stuff they wear is like the armour the Tolkein Elves wore? Strong as any mannish steel made yet light as the finest silk. Mythryl I think It's called.
Maybe the Hasin have something like Mythryl, and either make an alloy of it our use it pure?
I'll have to ponder this one my friend!

Soon by God's grace! I have had so many interruptions and real life emergencies/needs that it has really buggered my time to do a proper story, hopefully this will change! But I have to put my real life needs ahead of my artistic needs first! And if my head isn't so filled with cobwebs and I have the time, well who knows?
