Even at 19 our beloved Hilly isΒ  both svelte and contemplative, always exuding class and as well as demure femininity. And yes she is "developing" quite well indeed.

From a charming girl to the vibrant Lady she is now. My, what a life she has lived and continues to live.

And as always, she continues to cherish and inspire. She is indeed a blessing to all of us.

Very lovely here.Β  Was this before she started wearing her monocle?

Yes, pre monocle Hilly. When she was younger she had exceptional vision. It was when she was a young non com in the Hasin Army (starting up from the ranks and no special privileges )Β  she was partially blinded by an enemy shell. Fortunately the Hasin Army doctors were able to restore her sight but her left eye remained weak . While on duty she would wear ballistic grade glasses (one lens clear, the other with a prescription lens) This did not effect her skills as a soldier and later as an officer. (In fact Hilly has some record breaking sniper scores still) She started wearing the monocle when she became a Major ; she and some friends were having an off base party while on leave andΒ  She had found an old theatrical monocle that a guest left behind at the hotel they were staying at. One thing lead to another and Hilly and buddies her were making fun of some old school pompous officer that wore a monocle. But, while funning around she discovered the thick plastic lens of the stage monocle actually helped her weak eye!
That, and all her friends agreed she looked awesome with it,(as apposed to the pompous officer who just looked goofy with a monocle.) So, afterwards she had the habit of wearing the monocle while on base or at dress gatherings (no regulation in the Hasin military Β  was against wearing one) and wears bullet proof specs while in the field, training, or at a heavy work assignment.
I hope this helps.

Oh she does, a big polished wooden case houses her eye wear collection.

Her monocle is more than eye wear. It (the monocle) has a H.U.D. and a com link and camera built in.(similar to a Star Fleet Federation communicator/tricorderΒ  ) Miniaturization and nano circuits are no problem to the Hasin techs. ( and it's powerΒ  can be motion or solar recharged!)

And some of her monocles are just really nice eyewear.

Wasn't one of you other Hasin lady equipped with such eyewear?

Let's see; Lady Ashley Lovejoy (who wears a monocle over her cybernetic eye patch..She's a Mel Brooks fan and liked Kenneth Mars' inspector Kemp) and Lady Ashley's mum Lady Ruth Lovejoy. There's Prof. Fellice Manning a robotics expert, and a couple of other ladies too.(sigh...old man brain again.)

I know remember Lady Ashley Lovejoy.Β  You've sent me artwork of her already.Β  And she wears her monocle over the right eye while Lady Hildegard wears hers over the left, correct?

She doesn't look that grumpy. Mildly thoughtful, maybe a little depressed in the lower-right image, but the other two portrayals, Hilly looks rather pleased about something. Given how we are familiar with her older self, she has aged very well from her younger years of beauty.

Not so much depressed as deep in thought (this was before she went into the service ; Hasin Republic Reg.Army/infantry/engineers) Hilly herself admits to being a bit of a nerd at that age. ("I cared for nothing else except books, back packing and collecting old tools.") But then as now Hilly has had a loving heart and a joyful spirit!

Thank goodness she always retained a good, pleasant personality in social circles. A military service would give her some tough edges, but with an excellent discipline to know where and when to be sober-minded in the face of conflict. Outside of such situations, ever the smiling, compassionate lady we know and love.
