Description This package was part of a recently completed project of mine and I thought I would share it.

This package contains 6 (six) Gimp brushes of the "Pitted Roman Stone Tiles" you see featured in the preview image, lettered A-F.

That's not all!!! You also get 2 (two) Gimp pattern, one is seamless the other is not.
The seamless pattern was used to create the floor that is also in the preview image.
The patterns are large, (1200X1200) and they can be used on images closer to or larger then 1200x1200 for the best results.

Still there's more!!! If you download the package, you also get the template used to create the patterns.
This template can be used as a guide along with the brushes. To help aid in creating you own design using these brushes.

There are 2 kinds of templates, a JPG and a PNG image.
The PNG image template has transparency and the JPG one dose not.
You can flip the template horizontally or vertically, rotate it or whatever you like and use the brushes to fill it in.

Wait there's more!!! Also included is a bonus PNG image of the 6 (six) brushes, but these have a limestone texture applied to them.

You thought I was finished didn't you???
Well there's more!!!

Only kidding...

Please don't forget the rules about using other artists work.

Enjoy.

Sorry, but I don't do requests.
However, there is a "Coffee Stain" filter in GIMP.
You can find it under, Filters>Decor>Coffee Stain.

Another great brush just wondering, how do you get them slanted so they actually look like a floor? instead of dead flat lol

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Geosammy In reply to naomih91 [2012-06-27 00:03:43 +0000 UTC]

That's easily accomplished using the perspective-tool.
Just lay out the tiles as you like or by using the template to create the layout.
Then use the perspective-tool to pull the image down whichever way you need it to be.

This "You-tube" GIMP tutorial (only the very first part) can show you how to use the perspective-tool to make your image lay down to look like a floor. [link]

Thanks for Watching
