This bull was not happy. I got between him and his "harem" including the calves, and there were some tense moments before I could exit the scene, intact. Another in the South Africa series.Related content

His "body" language left no doubt. He was moving his head from side to side, flaring his ears, and "pawing" at the ground. My problem was I had no escape route because of a river behind me. But...all ended well... And thanks for the visit.

Hi JL, and thanks for liking this one. I used a Nikon D80 for this shot, and I was just using the so-called "kit lens" that comes with that camera, which is an 18 mm to 135 mm zoom. This shot was probably at the 135 mm length, or thereabouts.
