Description Third in the Annecy afternoon series. I coudn't resist this lamp reflected in a puddle. Think of the photons traveling 93 million miles in eight minutes to hit the lamp, then the puddle, then my camera's lens, and finally your eye.

Gerald this is amazing! (Yet again! ) I can't believe how still and undisturbed that puddle is. At first I thought this was taken through a steamy window with a clear patch; but then I read your comments. I'm in awe at your photography, but this one is particularly great and it is peculiar thinking of the photons.

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this one. Most people didn't I think. But it was fun anyway. Good of you to grant the too!

Maybe a bit weird, but I rather enjoyed the old look of it. Thank, Karolina!

There's something slightly Dickens about this... At first glance I thought this was taken through a frosted over window. Which gives me an Oliver Twist kind of feel.

This comment makes me smile because I had exactly the same feeling when I shot the picture. Nevermind that is was just a simple mud puddle!

Yes, I did have a great time in France -- even if the weather was rather cold at that time.

....be careful where you play with your photons, it may be a hanging offense in some countries...

Cute shot anyway

I try to stick with reflections that won't require an "adult material," or whatever they call it, tag. So far...so good...

I like this one a lot, Gerald At first, I thought it was a view through a snow-covered window, and I wondered where on earth you'd been to find winter in June.

Then I realized what it actually was. Whimsy or no, a nicely done image!

Thanks, Aaron. I did enjoy that sometimes sunny and sometimes not afternoon.
