Whenever I think of this song, it always reminds me of the sad childhood of Toki Wartooth from Metalocalypse.I swear after the third time I've heard the Elfen Lied intro "Lilium," I literally broke down into tears. It's probably one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard; and I can listen to it on loop for hours and never get tired of its melody.

I know right, I wonder how he deals with the cold weather with just a t-shirt. Geez, I can barely stand outside in 60 degree weather without shivering and bundling up in layered clothing. 
The song really inspired me. It suits him well too because the sad tune reflects with his poor neglected childhood.

In the intro of the Elfen Lied anime, it shows a girl huging a man (based off of the art work by Gustav Klimt), and so I used that reference to make Toki as a kid, hugging the snowman.

It was sort of a random thought at first for the drawing, but at least it was good enough for a different perspective (collabs with anime shows and other cartoon shows and whatnot).

Oh, wow...this is really beautiful. The details are lavish and I really like the three-subject composition you did here. Each subject blends well with the background and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb but you can tell what is what.
The middle Toki's anatomy could be tweaked around a bit here and there, but it's not such a major flaw that I want to ramble on about. The eye in the corner...wow...

Anatomy is hard, no matter what style you do it in [super-deformed chibi characters don't count]. It's okay to suck at anime-esque stuff. I've seen the stuff in your gallery, and I recommend keeping up what you've been doing and making sure that the anime style doesn't corrupt your art style [as it has done to mine...and I regret ever learning how to draw it with all my soul...ugh...]
I curse the very day I got that How to Draw More Manga book back in middle school...
