A picture I started back in May. I was soooo exited about it because it was the first time since like, 2007 that I had tried to make a semi-realistic picture. First time making fur too. I was working fast on it so I could bring it to my portfolio review.Then a horrible thing happened. Like several files on my computer, this one became corrupt. I couldn't open it, couldn't move it, couldn't do anything with it. All that work went down the toilet. I had started on the face and was working my way down the neck and up the back leg to meet in the middle. I was so far along. You can see where I started making the fur on his back leg and the mane on his neck.
This is all thats left of that file. Oh I have another PSD version of it saved that is fine but its not nearly as far along as this one. I probably will try again next time I don't feel like crying over spilled milk. Yummy spilled milk though.
Would have put this in scraps but I figure if I don't ever finish it, at least people will see what I started. I don't even know if this counts as fantasy.

The colors go so perfectly together. Oh man I just know if you did restart on this and finish it (Judging by the previous fur started.) it would look absolutely gorgeous!

Thats because it isn't finished yet. I only managed to put fur on the back leg and cheek before my file became corrupt. I never got to finish it because of that.

Ugh, I keep my computer has clean as possible and try to never go over half full. It only gets crappy when its over half. But man, so many of my pictures are becoming corrupt or some just wont open anymore because it keeps saying "Error: File is in use" In use by WHO? I'm the only one on this computer! I'm not even connected to the internet most of the time, I use the school computers to get on the internet. Its soooo annoying.

That sucks. I could talk to my dad and see if he knows what's wrong with the files that say they're in use. He fixes computers for a living. X3

Freaking awesome. Yes, ask him! here are some things about my computer that might help:
Its a 3 year old Dell computer with XP on it. I don't get on the internet much with it, only on the weekends. About 5% of my pictures have become corrupt after working fine for days or months or whatever. About 2% of my pictures wont open/save/delete because it says its in use even when its not. I have superantispyware on my computer that works great and a few others that I'm not sure what they are called.
I just doubled my memory too. This stinks.
My dad is one of those people you call when your computer isn't working. I don't remember what they are called. But he usually just blames a virus, spyware, glitch or just says its an old computer. I need answers and solutions!!
