Description
This drawing took about 2 hours overall. It was drawn with a #2 pencil, and the picture was taken from my phone. Unfortunately, the camera on my phone really ups the contrast, so you can't see the shading on the body very well at all. Bruneydog helped me to remember to do me to do this! Thanks, Bru! I was actually going to put her in armor but I was too afraid of ruining the drawing (I am such a coward). She's meant to be flying through the sky. I didn't know what horses look like when they fly exactly, so I just made her galloping because it's the most flight-like gait to me! Haha.

I didn't reference much at all, really. I just glanced for the wings (I really had to. I am SO bad at wings that without a reference, I would have ruined the whole drawing), and looked at a ref for the chest muscles. I also looked at some pictures of galloping horses for the sketch. The rest I did from memory. Her name is Black Magic. That's because I couldn't decide between drawing a dark, evil-looking pegasus or a light, heavenly one, so I ended up doing a combination of both. I kept some features white, while I did a heavy gradient into black for other areas.

Also, I tried a completely new shading technique on the mane and tail, which I kind of made up on the spot. All I did was do a bunch of quick lines, actually. I thought I would also try my hand at feathered legs, so you'll see a little feathering around the hooves! Anyway, tell me what you think!

P.S. Idk why one her front right foreleg is so blurry looking! It doesn't look like that in the drawing. It's so weird.
P.S.S. The mane and tail don't make any sense. Maybe she has a fan in front of her head and nowhere else? LOL.
