HAND OF FATE - Doctor Fate and Iron Fist mashup.

In 1939, adventuring explorer Kent Rand, travelled to the Himalayas in search of the fabled temple of K'un L'un in the lost city of Nanda Parbat. He was last seen at the base of the mountain before aascending up Mount Everest. Publically, he was never seen again. Kent was near death at the summit of the mountain when he was rescued by a monk from Nanda Parbat. Rand was brought back to health, and the monks of the temple recognized a specialness about him. Something they couldn't explain. He just had an aura of greatness, importance. The Monks told this to Kent, who now wished to stay and learn their ways. In this immortal mystical city, he spent years studying mysticism and sorcery, decades training physically in every known martial art discipline, and discovering and exploring other mystical realms including a mysterious portal that exits in Egypt. The Monks, believers and devout followers of the Lords of Order, believed that Kent Rand is the one to be chosen to become the defender of Order; but he had to conquer 3 challenges first.

The first, was to retieve the powerful lost Helmut of Nabu - a golden helmet forged during the Pharoah Ramses II's dynasty by the great Sorcerer Nabu and blessed by the wizard Shazam - housing all of the knowledge of the sages that ever were and a vessel to contact the Lords of Order directly. Kent found it.

The second, kill the dragon of K'un L'un without using his mystical powers only his body and wits, and collect the powerful dragon heart within. With great effort, Rand slayed the dragon and the dragon heart energy imbued itself into the fist that caused the killing blow. When Kent summons this energy, he has a powerful concussive punch able to punch through the hardest materials.

The third challenge, was to find and retrieve the Amulet of Anubis, the most powerful magical artifact there is. It has been lost for centuries. The Amulet, was created by the God Anubis and entrusted with Nabu almost 4,000 years ago. The amulet is believed to be able to house the souls of many who have worn the vestments of Fate in the centuries past, which can act as counsel for the current user. It can allow for inter-dimensional Travel and it contains a pocket dimension inside it. It can fire mystic beams; render the user undetectable to magical detection; increase the user's sorcery; and see the network patterns of matter and energy that form the universe with unearthly ability. Allowing the user to be able to see through illusions. - Kent Rand spent 5 years searching and found it.

With his incredible knowledge, unmatched physical skills, and vestments of Fate collected, Kent Rand was sent back to the modern world. To be a champion of order, and protect those in need.
