PAINTER

Jessica Blanchard was a huge fan of her favorite Uncle growing up. She ignored the weird things that happened when he was around. Believed talk that he was just an imaginative eccentric. She was a fan of and inspired by her Uncle's art, and became an accomplished artist herself. Then one day her Uncle disappeared. No trace of his whereabouts or last actions. Mysteriously vanished. Several weeks passed, and Jessica received a package in the mail. Inside the package, was a wand - a note - and a memo book.

The Note was from her Uncle, explaining that he had to leave to save everyone. But no explanation as to why. He did continue in the note describing to Jessica that he is a Warlock; and has been using his powers for years in secret. He was a guardian against the Dark Arts, defending common people against Witches and other supernatural menaces. But with him having to leave, someone has to take his place and he chose her. A cause for future controversy, as there has never been a female Warlock before.

The Memo book contains all of the spells and incantations her Uncle has ever known. Jessica is to learn them, practice them, master them.

The Wand is a magical talisman, that takes the form of the holder's innermost passions. For her Uncle, the wand manifested as a pen and what ever he wrote down on paper came to be. When Jessica weilded the wand for the first time, it took the form of a paint brush. As her knowledge and skill became stronger the more she practiced, Jessica soon discovered that with the paint brush she can conjure up whatever she imagines simply by gesturing a painting motion with it.

Jessica is determined to find her Uncle and bring him back home. She is also continuing the work of being guardian against the Dark Arts, and helping those in need as... the PAINTER!
