Little is known about the quartet of quirky heroes some call the Unknown Four. They showed up when the red skies appeared and the Anti-Beyonder almost destroyed the multiverse. They joined with the rest of the heroes to thwart the cosmic mad god's scheme of cosmic annihilation. Rumors abound that the Unknown Four are the last remaining survivors from yet another alternate reality; destroyed in the Anti-Beyonder's blitz. But no one knows for sure.

Here is what we do know about them from their few appearances:

MR. AWESOME - appears to be the leader of the group, and looks to be quite intelligent. Beyond Genius level just by the tech he employs. He has also been seen to perform some olympic level stunts and has what appears to be the ability to stretch himself to great lengths. Often seen embracing his teammate at the end of each "victory", it is assumed that he may be in a romantic relationship with his teammate AMAZING WOMAN.

AMAZING WOMAN - Young, confident, beautiful. She can be here, nowhere, and everywhere all at once as she demonstartes multiple powers in her exploits. She has grown as tall as 40 ft high, has literally disappeared as if she has gone invisible, and can create powerful constructs using only her thoughts. She has been heard on several occassions referring to FIRE TORCH as sister, so it is believed they could very well be related.

FIRE TORCH - Demonstrated abilites include. Combustion. Self Immolation. Flight. Fireball projectiles. Flashbursts. Molecular mastery of fire (she can shape it). Appears to be a few years younger than her sister, AMAZING WOMAN, enjoys the attention that being a heroic public figure brings. Impulsive. Courageous to a fault. Hotheaded. Acts first, thinks never. Often seen being scolded by her teammates.

SWAMP-THING - at least, I think that's what he's been called. Has shown immense physical strength, single handedly holding up tumbling buildings during the crisis. He appears to have an earthy hide for a skin. Mossy, rocky, flora mixed with terra in some magnificent hybrid. Has been seen causing the ground beneath opponents to erupt or quake, summon plants to rapidly grow and ensnare an attacker. Has also demonstrated a communion with plantlife as if he can actually talk to them. He is often seen somber, quiet, and sullen; until he is called to action then evidently it is "CLOBBERIN' TIME" as her is heard exclaiming before a battle.
