Description So here is my end of the trade sorry it took so long it was ridiculous I know. I spent a total of at least 12 hours on it but not consecutivly. (That's a word right? Well it is now) anyway I really hope you appreciate your Niric trade art.

Pretty nice drawing, but try to make the thumbs on the wings smaller, other than that, nicely done!Β

Wow what a complement thank you for that comment yourself I can show you how to blend the way I do if you like. It's actually very simple and I don't use blending stumps but it adds a almost digital feel to it

Your welcome! Β

And sure, I'd love to see how you do the blending. Β I did see that you used the color blue to use for the shading on the green skin, very nice job on that.

Ok this is just to enhance others people's drawing I'm here to help the artists get better and better because for an artist there is no end there are only improvements

I think that it is great that you do that. God bless you!

So how did you do the blending you did with this?

I use several layers and though you can be taught to do this in art class I also taught myself using the color white always blends colored pencils together to get that texture and smooth tone to it. Any colored pencil works crayola, prisma, etc which are the best ones in my opinion mixing the two brands isn't the best idea either because of the soft lead of prisma versus the hard lead of crayola will offset what your trying to do so keep with the same brand pencil. Wax and oils do not work like this I've tried however it's colored pencil that you able to get that blending technique.
