I had the honour to collab with the talented *falk2021 !
It was very fun and i learnt a lot while doing this!
I wonder how the picture can be interpreted! ^^
I'm curious if some of you are interested in showing the steps for the piece? If i get some answers on that, i might post it in my scraps! ^^

My first impression was that it is an apocalyptic/mechanical mother nature... :S
But like the other comments say, incredibly beautiful.

It reminds me of the dark side of mother nature; mother nature none the less, as shown by the tubes connected to the pod which I am interpreting as the child's way of sustaining life. Almost as if she has decided to bring a natural disaster down on the still young human race. (Ice age?)
The futuristic effects make me think that the reason she's doing this is because humans had (have) alot to learn and experience before they are free of the life support and she's giving humans a push~
The flowers in back are maybe symbols for a blossoming "flower" aka child aka race
The piece really made me think, the arm looks a bit short to me, I'm really not sure if it's just me, but it looks very realistic and I love the contrast between colors.

Oh that is amazing. I love the design of the woman. Although I cna't quite grasp on what they are. Are they machines or part of the plants?
But I think the background is amazing. I love the insects and the nature surrounding it. I also like how the colors balance each others. I think you both did a good job.

We didn't "fore-think" it, we just did our steps after an other, influencing the pic like we felt.

If you're making this as a print someday, might wanna try to lighten up those darkened areas with levels and inject a little more colour via adjustment layers [ie Gradient Map] in Photoshop.

Holy hell, the details are amazing.
I see it as a mother and child of course, though at the same time imagine it somehow along the lines of tainted life a whole new form of instinctive growth between parent and infant.
At the same time though it makes me wonder on if this would be considered alien life or robotic/futuristic lifeforms xD;
Way to think too deeply into something, eh? I'm just a freak that way xx;
I'd love seeing the process though, it always fascinates me to see how results come along <3
