Description Silver ring with tea-colored tourmaline. Half the shank is filigree, the other half - smooth polished silver. Filigree model was hand-made, then cast to replicate. My first prongs setting, and yes, it's a bit askew... But I keep learning

gorgeous! So delicate, but at the same time it looks like it's a nice weight for a ring. I was so nervous about doing prongs the first time I tried, but I realized how nice it was for faceted stones.

Thank you! It is rather wide (9 mm or 1/3 inch), but not very heavy - the filigree is light and thin. I hope to do prongs better next time I try...
