These two designs were drawn a year ago and it shows here and there. I recently got to use the younger design in the comic and I'm definitely better at drawing their hair now. Also the age is more of a rough concept given that A) Ast isn't a human and B) years on Planet Obeross are different than they are on Earth. I have not yet decided how the years equate, since the specifics don't really matter. Just know they have a son who is as old as they were when they had him. I thought I should just put those two designs together in one post instead of waiting another year to upload the Age 45 version, even if they weren't originally drawn that way. There is another design for them as the Nihil of Time, Jackavul , which appeared during the first chapter of CotF. Added sexuality here since this detail matters for elves, as opposed to Cypros, who don't have sexes.

Astheno is June 's partner and together they have three sons; Michael, Freddy and Jason . Their own parents are Francis, an Exadian Trans Man, and Sarrue, a Toxian Trans Woman, however Astheno themself doesn't show any Toxian characteristics (yet their youngest son, Jason, got slightly purple skin due to this ancestry). They live in the East district of the city Vergeport, which is located within the Saint Sahudo area of the province Viisbahdon of Planet Obeross.

This Exadian Elf is highly educated and tries their best to use what they know for good as kindly as they possibly can, without condemning those that may not have had the privilege to gain this kind of education they did growing up. They've been best friends with a Mutaharan Elf called Litho(Gizmo's and Thalven's dad), with whom they share a naming scheme, since early childhood. Together they went on adventures for most of their youth, which was something Astheno wished they could have continued to do later in life since they love nothing more than exploration.

During their early 20s they met their wife, June, buying drugs from her older brother, Shazran, together with Litho. Since then the couple went through thick and thin, spoke about both her trauma and Ast's anxiety with compassion and understanding. While they love their wife and sons above all else, they can't help but feel on edge constantly knowing that they have to do their very best in order to be a good parent and partner, stress that consumed them even more once they began suffering from severe head-aches and couldn't take care of their family as much as they used to any longer.

Their wife insists that she loves them just the way they are, no matter what disabilities they may have or what gender they are, she just wants them to allow themself to relax and let her handle things more often. Most of their arguments center around their ideas of good parenting, one of them having been raised by two loving parents who went above and beyond to have them, tho other an orphan who was raised by a highly traumatised uncle and her older brother.

Astheno's soul allows them to focus energy into their muscles not only to gain more strength but they're also able to stretch out an energy based version of the limb the muscles are part of to reach far away targets. They tend to use one-handed swords as weapons if anything and prefer to use little to no armour.
