I'm crocheting a rainbow scarf now and I was wondering how tassels would look. Now I know the are perfect!
I'm using a size H hook, 2 rows of each color double crochet, 6 feet long, and a mix of Caron Simply Soft and Red Heart yarn.
I just want to pick up your scarf and snuggle with it. Looks super soft!

Noveldove, pick the first color you want to use and chain 250 (depending on the length of the scarf.) Double crochet length of row and then when you start new row you can continue with the same color or change colors.

I love your scarf! I am just learning. If you don't mind me asking, what size yarn did you use for this!

Caron Simply Soft is a great choice because it's soft and inexpensive (around $3.50 a skein.) And the colors fit well for this project.

I don't remember exactly which yarn I used because most of it was scraps. But I'm 95% sure it was all Red Heart yarn. I'm cheap like that. The best part about the worsted weight Red Heart is that you can throw in in the washer with delicates and dry it with dryer sheets and the yarn will come out nice and soft.

I'm using a mix of Caron Simply Soft 100% acrylic with Red Heart Super Saver. Caron SS is ridiculously soft and pretty economical at about $3.50 a skien.
