Freyja means "Lady" in Norse Mythology, the Goddess of Love and Marriage.

The gown's made from a quite simple pattern with princess seams, i.e. not a bit period. I added double layerd sleeves for a more interesting look while still keeping it simple, focusing on this gorgeous red silk.
The train can be cut of, though it would be a shame. The gown is pictured with a wide hooped petticoat but will look great without one, too. The petticoat is not included anyway.
