Artwork for the #gods_lose_jobs contest (we had to draw one or more pegan gods as if they lost their god value and were made to live among humans in modern world) )
Thought the theme was very interesting and decieded to participate)
This is Makoš (or Makosh) slavanic godess, protector of hearth and women, so I thought that she would make a perfect caring housewife (not really typical for post soviet teritories)(though I think she'd be single) ) Some sources say that the name 'Makosh' translates to 'embroidery' and this is interesting, because her main role in all those gods-work-stuff was that she actually messing around with life threads (tying them up so people would meet, all that stuff) ) and the idea that she might make a living of embroidery acctually made sense for me)
