This is an amazing pose. I really like it.
Though, the title is very violent to me, maybe it doesn't quite fit. I get that there's tension in the pose, i.e. the fist, but maybe it's still a little too graphic and over the top. I don't know, just my two cents, but what do I know.

I don't know, it definitely has a masculine element to it with the fist and all. When I look at it I kind of think that it looks like the kind of pose a gladiator might have just before entering the lion's den. I don't know, is that useful: "Gladiator", yep, that would be my suggestion

I like the pose very much, but wonder about the clenched fist

It's been too long, can't recall what I might have been thinking. Likely, though, I was conccerned with the contrast between the clenched fist, relaxed hand -- symbolism I'm perhaps too fond of, i e, too 'easy'.
Or it might have been spontaneous: frustration with G Bush -- and the American electorate who were about to give back control of the House to the Republicans (whose policies and especially de-regulation would two years later bring the world to the brink of economic disaster -- yet again and inter alia).
However, I'm truly glad you (mostly) like it -- and thanks so much for the 'fav' and the comment!
