Right now watching both Gunbuster & Nadia: Secret of Blue Water - early works from Gainax (studio behind Evangelion) and they're both pretty good.

Yeah.
Did you know that Nadia inspired Disney's Atlantis? Pal of mine told me about it recently.

Interesting trivia.
You should watch Nadia if you haven't, it also reminds me of Jules Verne's works a bit too.

Itβs pretty good. Voice actors from Japan, Akio Otsuka and Yuko Mizutani, did with Black Jack and Pinoko from Black Jack

Did you know that the main heroine Noriko Takaya in Gunbuster was named after her voice actress Noriko Hidaka?

No I havenβt. But I know her, she voiced Akane from Ranma 1/2, and Kikyo from Inuyasha.

I just found out. Even she did Satsuki in Totoro & Jean in Nadia, too.

Love her voice. And she's still going at it today.

Her role as Noriko in Gunbuster is pretty good, and I like that most.

Yup.
Her character in Gunbuster goes from clumsy to heroic, even though she misses her father.

That heroine would remind of how Sailor Moon was then & now.

Yes.
I like when how all heroes start out as "just another average"-type with a little problem but things start to kick butt when she or he gets involved with the action going on, and we all start to root as he or she grows to become a great hero.

Besides, can you do me a piece on either Gunbuster or Nadia if that's fine?

And thanks again.
I also still love the classics from Gainax, too.

Totally.
But Evangelion will forever be my favorite & best Gainax work in my words.

And kudos to them, as well.
Another trivial fact: Gainax was first formed in 1984 on Christmas Eve
