MerKazai's lake, now dust bowl. It's even got ghost fishies swimming around.She has watched the descent of her lake from a beautiful, lush enviroment to a desolate wasteland.
This took me a rediculous amount of time, but I'm so, so happy with it. It's done in the same style as my entry for antecanis's contest. This style is growing on me.
That little bit of hair that sticks up on her back isn't just because of the wind, it might become a part of her character. Like a little furry fin.

She's staring to look more and more corporal (physical material, not immaterial or intangible) when I draw her I always go for the unreal of it all, but she's a lot more alive than that, isn't she, now? She really shows that she is really strong and thirsty, real, windswept... and she doesn't look ready to give-up on the lake yet.
Really interesting.
I like where this story is going, what will she do next?

Yeah, she is getting more 'real' but I'm not sure if that's what I want. The way you draw her is kinda what I want it to be, but it turns out looking more real. I don't really mind, I guess. I like how you can find so much emotion in her, especially stuff I didn't even think about when I was drawing.
