Gouache Paints and Ink Pens. I also touched up the saturation on the red when getting the picture on my computer so it would read more strikingly.

I used ink pens and black and red water colors and some black pastels. Then I took a picture of it with my camera and enhanced it a bit in photoshop. Especially the reds. In the actually picture they looked kinda dull and pink. So I made them vibrant on there. lol

Awwwww! Noooooo! Don't ever do that! lol. Looking through your gallery you definitely have the talent. You should have seen my stuff about 4 years ago when I was a Sophomore, not as interesting stuff.

I always used to just do the projects in my art class and never really practiced on my free time. The teacher would just have us go online to look for a picture to copy. Junior year though we got sketchbooks and I think that's what helped me play around with my own style and originality. Then for projects I stopped going online and was like the only one who created my own crap. xD It's way easier to draw your own stuff, that way you can't mess up.

Just keep on practicing and try to figure out how those artists that you think are great do what they do. That's what i'm doing currently [link] i'm so jealous of those people. xD

If you want to go down the road I did then keep up the ink pens, experiment with the water colors that come in the tubes, cause they're thick and awesome. And then learn how to use photoshop Even if you don't make digital work on there, there's still ways to scan/take pictures of your traditional work and enhance them to make them look real nice.

Sorry for the long reply! Haha, just don't get discouraged cause i've definitely (and still feel I am) in your shoes.

Yea i guess i'll give some time to my ''art'' actually.. cause i'm lazy and right now i'm not studying either working.. so i have like one or 2 weeks to get some time..

I wish you luck on your research! actually i always tough people can improve but somehow they have their one style and sometimes we try to do some things that we saw somewhere and we loved it but it's just not our style.. and we should improve on what we are good at and get better at only that. But i'm the kind of person that want to do everything >> i get confused and end not doing anything that great! cause i try everything and don't finish it or improve it haha.

Oh well, thanks dude, i really appreciate your ''worry'' in what i tought (a lot of people here just care with themselves and don't give a damn), i wish you the best!

I'm definitely that kind of person too, that wants to do everything. xD I have no idea what i'm going to do for a profession, just know I want to create. I totally rush most my projects though, trying to work on slowing down and paying more attention to details. lol

I wish you the best as well, and no problem! There's a ton of awesome and creative people out there, would be ignorant for me to think i'm the only important one.
