I really wonder what my bear is thinking. But I really do love that kinda cheeky but adorable look he gives the viewer.Really cute, even if he's a highly dangerous freelancer and fighter. ^^

Not really ^.^' As he's pretty cute on that. Honestly I'm not sure if I even have a picture that would fit that description.

I'll stick with the cute and short grown version. Or at least .. cute when he's not in combat.
When he is in combat mode then his behaviour is very cold. He behaves like a Commando and an Assassin, but he doesn't look like it

Well, when they created him for their project, they wanted to get a big, sturdy frame so they took a bear. And to offset said frame and give it some more agility they mixed in some cat. In his case a lynx.
Well, didn't work as planned. They got a short-grown, slightly small-boned Ursine with retractable claw and a cute look.
And it mews. ^.^''
But still he is as though as they wanted him, he just doesn't look like it. His augmentations also helped.
It would a strong character, one that would always be in danger to become a "Mary Sue"-sort of character.
But he has far than enough problem to counterbalance this. Plus his implants aren't without side-effects.

Yeah, I don't think he's a Mary Sue. Just a genetically engineered, highly trained individual.

Yes, he has retractable claws. From his lynx genes he got said claws, the small build and the fact that he usually emits cat like sounds and not bear like ones. He mews and purrs. And if he is angry it's more like a dark hiss than a bear like growl.
Yeah, but that could make him a Mary Sue if I'm not careful. He can fire about any weapon and is pretty deadly at melee range as well.
And he's wired with a reflex- and neural booster and an implanted targeting system that projects some sort of a "HUD" directly into his optical nerve.

But being such a broken character and his augmentations having severe side effects, it's pretty balanced.
Plus ... bullet wounds are a serious thing in his world. Not that typical action movie "it's just a fleshwound" thingie when somebody pumped some rounds into him. He heals a little faster and without scars, but that's it. No Wolverine-self healing. Just a few days less in the sick bay and not disfiguring scars.
