A bit of a contest was posted in a Tarantula-based Facebook group asking to combine tarantulas, the contest originators and some of their interests. WELL! I saw HR Giger on there, and I said to myself, "I can work with THAT!". I ended up winning a couple Orange Baboon Tarantulas, (or "Orange Bitey Thingies" in common T culture) and an Orphnaecus sp. Blue.

Background: New World T's originate from the Americas and Old Worlds are from Asia, Africa, and Australia. NEW New Worlds are from... elsewhere... o_o

Also, stridulations are hissing noises that some species can make with their book lungs. Its kind of spooky to hear an adult do it.
