Looks mean with all the rusty beat-up parts and crazy engine! The location is awesome and perfect for the car too.

Man, i didn't read all of the comments above, so somebody else might have told you, But that's Billy Gibbon's (ZZ top guitarist) ford. It was on the cover of Car Kulture Deluxe August 2006. very sweet ride, and very cool pic.

You ALMOST have a perfect shot here Chris, damn this is close. The one thing that keeps it back from being one though is that blown out sky. Sugesstions for that===get a Grad ND filter which will help you hold back the sky and now blow it out. You could also try running a PS style ND with the help from =lukeroberts which he posted in his journal. Other than that, go B&W, which would obviously work at alleviating the problem. One last thing---Sharpen it. It is a lil soft, especially the background trees. Everything else in here including composition is flawless!

Thanks John, I tried the P.S. ND filter trick, didn't work... There's just no detail at all in the sky. Thats what I get for 1) no ND filter... 2) shooting on a rather overcast day... 3) not bracketing... lol I will have a B/W Ver and the Sharper ver up by the end of the weekend. Thank you very very much John. I'm really digging the critiques. Keep them coming.

I want my own Wally some day...
And I honestly wonder where you find these things. And how? Perhaps how is the better question. And is that a jag hood ornament?

Are you sure that's a Greyhound bus logo? They seem to be very popular on grilles of '34 Fords...

Yeah, the guy told me he got from a salvage yard off a greyhound bus. Unless he was mistaken?

I did an image search for "'34 Ford hood ornament" and came up with links that led me to this site: [link]
Also, Timmis Motor Company makes recreations of '34 Fords. Enclosed is a link to the front page of their photo gallery. The hood ornament is the last photo on this page: [link]
I won't say they guy didn't get it off a Greyhound bus, but I wonder who put it on the bus in the first place? Maybe not the Greyhound factory.

I think I may do a calender. My friend Tony Huntimer does calendars of the Salt Flat Races in Bonneville. If there's people out there like yourself who will buy some, I'll gladly produce some. Thank you very much Kurt. I really appreciate the comment and the critique.

Who's car is that? If you don't mind sharring. I think I might know the guy, except he had his shop's logo painted(and distressed) on the side, but maybe this was taken before that.

I really don't know who's car this was... It was taken at the Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum in Pamona CA if that helps.
