It depends on what contacts you get! So far, the Geo brand ones have worked really nice for me!
Definitely get a quality pair for the pink contacts though! I got pink ones once from this website that sold them for cheap, and while the other two I ordered were pretty nice, the pink ones looked really scary when I put them in. So I would suggest using a really quality site with good reviews for pink ones! PinkieParadise is pretty popular.
My old red contacts dried up, so I had to order new ones for Kyubey and Kyoko, but even though I ordered the same type I got before, these ones wouldn't go in as easy and the left one completely hurt when I got it too close to my eye. I think something might have been wrong with them; maybe a tear or something. So unfortunately I couldn't get them in, and I don't have time to order them for my next con as Kyubey and Kyoko. Maybe another time though!

They most likely make them in pink or teal! Yeah, PinkieParadise takes a long time to ship. All circle lens stores usually sell the main brands like Geo though.
Yeah, I don't think you can get colored contacts non-disposable? I'm not sure though. They last about a year, but I forgot to put solution on my lenses so they dried up ^^" Yeah, the contacts make the cosplays look super rad. They definitely gave Flareon an extra something!
Nah you probably won't go blind, but if they hurt, definitely take them out!
If your nails are rlly long it might not be good for contacts, but slightly long nails can be good for taking contacts out haha

My first pair of Geo lenses were really comfortable, and they went in really easy!
Honestly the only thing that really hurt was the solution. Solution burns my eyes a little, but it's not too bad. Once the contact is in, I hardly noticed it was there, except when the wig got in my eyes XD

I got the red, because I wanted them to cosplay Genocider Syo from Dangan Ronpa, but then I ended up doing Flareon and used them then, and then I wanted to use them for Kyubey, Kyoko, and Cordelia from Cucumber Quest but they didn't go in. No, I don't normally wear contacts, but I have had a few pairs of colored ones, and kind of know which ones have worked out or not.

I like cosplaying characters with my eye color; it makes everything easier, and I don't have to stress about the possibility of the contacts not going in. That's why Mio is a good choice; her eyes are like exactly my color xD
Yeah, you'll have to look up which pink and blue contacts will show properly through brown eyes. My friend has some REALLY nice blue ones that apparently are really comfortable and you can't see the brown at all. It depends on what kind of blue you want though. Hers are a really vibrant blue. Pink would be the hardest with dark eyes, since they're such a light color, but I'm sure there are good pink ones that won't show the brown or be creepy!

Pink is tough, I wish I got my dad or my grandpa's eyes because my grandpa has blue eyes and my dad has hazel/gray/green eyes, but nope, I got a mix of my mom and dad eyes, mom has almost black and you know my dad.

The solution is one of the worst things about contacts. Sometimes when you put contacts in, they'll flip inside out and that is also really awful.
Yeah, my hair is a really dark brown, so I always have to shave my eyebrows a lot before I cosplay anyone with light hair. Shaving them usually makes them look really pretty though so I'm all for it haha.
I think the second pair looks more noticeably pink, but I'm not sure how they'll show up on brown eyes. Have you checked the reviews for both of them?
I think circle lenses will be fine. I believe my first pair was a circle lens pair. Just make sure to check out the reviews and see if they're comfortable to other users.

Nah, it doesn't hurt it's just annoying because they won't go in. They don't like flip inside your eye, they just flip onto your finger. It's usually because your finger is too wet, so the contact is sticking to it, but it's like 99.9% of the reason I can't get contacts in sometimes.
Waxing hurts soooo bad omg. It might not be too bad for you, but I hate it hah. I just take a normal razor (it actually works better for me than an eyebrow shaving device, because it gets more hairs at once) and kind of shave it in the shape I want it??? It's hard to explain haha. I usually have my mama help me with shaping eyebrows. Thinner eyebrows are also easier to color with eye shadow. I used eye shadow to color my eyebrows for Flareon. It doesn't work with really light colors though.

It should come in time (with the shipping I chose) for this small con I'm going to be Kyubey and Kyoko (maybe Flareon) at. And all the reviews were great, so they should work well. Another really good shop for contacts that my friend used for her really bright blue contacts was Alice and Rabbit. I'm going to get their brown doll lenses for when I cosplay Haru from The Cat Returns.
It's really not necessary to get a physical and eye exam, but if it makes your mom more comfortable I guess go ahead and do it. I was going to consult an eye doctor about contacts, but I believe most eye doctors would say no to using contacts, because they aren't FDA approved ^^" They aren't 100% safe, but they don't seem to be damaging anybody's eyes (unless you wear them for too long or keep wearing them when they're uncomfortable) The worst I got was a swollen eye for like 1 day, because on Halloween I wanted to take them out, but my friends didn't want to take me back home to take them out.

Yeah, I always flinch when I put contacts in, so I have trouble, but eventually you stop flinching. And getting contacts out is a whole lot easier than getting them in.

Yeah, you have to like look at the contact and stick it in your eye, and then you have to grab the contact with your nails to take it out. But if you grab too hard, you could tear it.

Yeah, I see a lot of Madokas and Mamis at cons. A few Homuras, and a teeny tiny amount of Sayakas and Kyokos. I think at Supercon there was only one other Kyoko and one other Sayaka. There was another Kyubey there as well!

One person put a picture of their vocaloid video they were making in the yearbook. We also had these questions that the yearbook ppl would ask students, and one was "What's your favorite show?" And someone answered, "Attack on Titans because it's Japanese and has a good story.' BECAUSE IT'S JAPANESE WHY.

I originally wanted to cosplay Sayaka when I first watched Madoka Magica, but my sister started liking her way too much, so I backed off ^^" I just like seeing Kyubey cosplayers; they make me happy haha.
Yep, I got both of their autographs! Kyubey's actress actually had little contracts out that she could sign, so I got one of those.
On our stage at school they like to do anime dances in the morning. And like, REALLY EMBARRASSING ANIME DANCES.

Yeah, she's always kinda stepping on me ^^" I don't think she does it on purpose, but she's always kind of been tough on me. She's usually fine, but sometimes she's just a little aggressive and loud, and I prefer not to deal with that. The only way to really settle an argument with her is to let her win honestly. She'll be leaving for college soon though. she's still coming down for conventions, but it's not like she's going to pressure me into not doing what I want when she's all the way up in another state.
uggghhhh so this girl on deviantart found me and she saw that I cosplayed Jade, and wanted to cosplay the kids at the mall with me. I was like eeey why not? I wasn't really against cosplaying at the mall at that time, so I was like boy howdy new homestuck friends. When I talked to the girl, she sounded really nice! But when I got there, she and her friends were pretty loud and annoying. They would blast their Homestuck music, go into stores and make fun of all the clothes, and then they went and read smut Homestuck fanfiction in one of the popular clothing stores. And it wasn't like they were be quiet about it to themselves, THEY READ IT AS LOUD AS THEY COULD DESPITE MY PLEADS TO KEEP IT DOWN. And the fanfiction was just awful. It was smut and violence and omg it was awful. They asked me to meet up a second time (a time when I realized cosplaying in the mall was kind of bad) and I was like noooo way goodbye

Homestucks themselves are just really cliquey? They always seemed like that to me. They act like some Homestucks are superior to other Homestucks and it's so stupid??? When I first cosplayed Nepeta, the only people who would even really talk to me were other Nepetas. The promstuck there was awful and all of the people just stayed in there own groups. I went to a promstuck at Megacon too, and even my really outgoing friend couldn't get any of the Homestucks to talk with her longer than like 5 seconds.

Honestly like it's really awful. The cosplay meetups ((like cosplayers in general in Oregon/Vancouver area)) are super friendly at first ((like when you first arrive they'll be all OHMIGOSH -insert character name that you're cosplaying- YOU'RE CUTE, I LOVE YOUR COSPLAY.)) but then they just huddle into their groups and everyone knows each other and they don't really care if you're alone.
Like GUYS the point of the meetups is not only to talk to old friends but make new ones too??

Yeah, I think both of us just find it awkward, so we don't like to do it, and just figure if one person cosplays a character, the other will be the counterpart. Usually it's just the two of us at cons, and sometimes one other friend though, so we wouldn't want to be walking around together as the same character. We only occasionally have biggish groups.
Before I even watched Madoka Magica I wanted to cosplay Kyubey. My friend told me she thought I would be a good Kyubey cosplayer, so I was like hey hey hey he's cute. I like Kyubey cosplays that are in cute little dresses and stuff, because I think it's a better resemblance of the character rather than dark-looking evil Kyubeys. Kyubey looks super cute, so why not represent him as that? Your friend did the cute dress thing and I was like yes yes yes haha >v< People always yell about Kyubey being evil, but he's honestly not??? He doesn't have emotions and stuff so he doesn't really know he's doing anything wrong????
I know I know they think they're really accepting and they aren'ttt. I don't normally even cosplay Homestuck at conventions anymore because no one ever really said anything to me ever. When I cosplayed Dog-tier Jade everyone was pretty nice to me. No one spoke to me for too long (except for this SUPER nice Roxy I met who spent the rest of the day with me after finding out I was pretty shy) but I got a lot of nice compliments.
It's a little bit the same with convention groups, but at least one person at a con comes up to you and talks to you for a while. Homestucks are just so distant idek.

I have certain characters I generally like. If they can be related to cats in any way I'll probably like them. I also usually like the really optimistic cute characters, and also mean characters. I think the liking mean characters thing is mainly because they're emotional though. I really like emotional characters. And I like shy characters sometimes. I like a variety of characters. I usually don't cosplay main characters. I cosplayed Eren but I think that's it for main characters.
Yeah, the pink and white kind of makes it cute anyway haha. I've seen ones that are more mysterious and evil-looking though.

They seem nice though! I've taken pictures of some Panty and Stocking cosplayers, but we don't have many down here. I see one or two at the cons I go to, but I guess I'm not really looking for them, so it's harder to spot them.
All the Madoka people I met were really nice, but I guess it might be different in Oregon.
If I'm alone or just with my sister people usually come up to me. Sometimes they're really awkward and all they want to do is hit on us despite them being like 20-30 but oh well.

ok ok so on day 0 of anime expo i was madoka and i was looking pretty bad bc i had no sleep and was super stressed and my heels were killing me and i was getting bombarded with photo requests.
so while i was waiting with my homura ((out of cosplay)) and my moirail and my homura's moirail, this creepy pimply glasses not set straight on his face manchild was like "oh who are you cosplaying, the hair makes me think Mew Ichigo but the dress makes me think Cardcaptor Sakura" and I was like "I'm Madoka. mew Ichigo is not until tomorrow, and Sakura is next year." and he was like "oh well you're so cute!! can i have a picture?" and just kept TALKING to me and like calling me cute. So i grabbed my moirail by the shoulders and was like "THIS IS MY GIRLFRIEND. Her name is Kylie. She's pretty radical yeah." but he just gave me a clueless look and kept talking after i turned my back on him like GUY STOP
THEN he kept on like finding moments to talk to me and i legit said "my GIRLFRIEND here and i can't WAIT for this line to be done so we can go back to my hotel room and do the dirty haha" but agAIN that clueless stare like HOLY SHIT MAN BACK OFF???
then finally the line moved after 6 hours of being creeped on by this guy, i went home and changed and yeah woke up for day 1 and when i was mew ichigo THE DAY 0 GUY ((as i dubbed him)) came up to me and my moirail and was like "oh hey nice mew ichigo omg you're cute i like it so much can i have a picture???" and i was like "OMG KYLIE IT'S THE DAY 0 GUY" but like i kind of turned and said it and i was like "suuuuuuure i guess" and posed awkwardly.
after i posed he tried to talk more to me but i just totally ran off bc ain't nobody got time fo dat?
then day 2 as Madoka he was like "OMG I REMEMBER U ILY SO MUCH CNA I HAVE UR Pic PLSSsS" and i was like "uhh sure" but i pulled my homura in so it wasn't just me.
then again he tried t otalk but i left
day 3 holy shit he found me and my moirail and we just totally smiled and ran away while i screamed "DAY 0 GUY"

I relate to some shy characters. I relate a lot to Mio, but I don't really relate to ones like Fluttershy. I think it's just because they all have soft tones and they're completely peacefully shy all the time, and it seems unrealistic? If the characters seem genuinely shy, and show fear of doing social things that seems more relatable to me.
I liked Sayaka for that somewhat rude and emotional thing she had going on. Kyoko I liked because she was again one of those mean characters that are actually just kind of emotional. Though Sayaka was more emotional I think, and Kyoko was more rude.
If they're just characters that have no reason to whine and they whine it bothers me. If they have a reason to cry all the time it's fine though.

I only ever really like dark shows, or extremely cute shows. When the show has nudity, is sexual, or has a lot of fanservice it makes me uncomfortable though. I can still watch shows that have a little bit, but it just makes me feel awkward. I think the only fanservice show I let slide was Nyan Koi, because the story was really weird and it had cats in it, and it was too late to back out because I already liked all the cats and I wanted to know how the love triangle ended, whiCH THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL YOU SO I DIDN'T GET TO FIND OUT AND THEY SAID THEY MIGHT MAKE A SECOND SEASON BUT IT HASN'T BEEN ANNOUNCED AT ALL THAT THEY WILL. THAT SOUNDS REALLY AWFUL. I don't usually get reoccurring people but wow that's scary. The time I did the eevee group, there was this one guy who got a picture of our group, and then asked for one of just Eevee. We thought that was a little weird but whatever. According to my friend who was eevee, he was following us around the whole convention without talking to us at all, so just stalking us forever. Then he took our picture again for some reason??? And he got a picture with Eevee. Okay he left by then and it was all good. But after we tagged ourselves in the photoshoot pictures on facebook, eevee gets a friend request from the guy. She accepts it, but the icon is of her and him together. He starts messaging her all the time and just bugging her. And at some point he asks if he could commission my mom to make him an eevee dress??? We declined, because my mom didn't want the pressure of making his costume and working on what we wanted her to help us with on our costumes and he wanted it in like a month so no. I think he stopped messaging her and ended up getting some eevee kimono but omg.

I try to keep my sassiness and rudeness on the downlow haha. I guess that's why I relate more to calm, collected characters. But then again, nobody can be calm all the time, so I like when characters freak out about things and such. The only character I can say I really relate to is probably Mio. There are characters I find that I can relate to, but not as much as I relate to her.
Yeah, usually characters are exaggerated, to make them more interesting. Fluttershy is just supposed to be a completely calm, shy, quiet character, even though it's not a fully relatable personality.
I don't really know how to explain my love for completely rude characters. I'm just kind of like oh yeah you go girl you go kick some booty. But I really really really hate arrogant characters. Really arrogant people are my least favorite people and I hate arrogant characters. If they're a little bit arrogant, yeah that's fine, but when they are just 100% full of themselves I hate it omg.
I think the most relatable character for me in Madoka Magica is probably Mami? Or maybe Madoka? Definitely not Kyoko or Sayaka. Probably not Homura. I guess I would relate most to a mix of Mami and Madoka.

On the official one that asks you like 5 questions, I got Kyoko. But I took three other quizzes and got Madoka once and Mami twice so who knows who I match the best haha. I think the process of the guy turning into a ghoul is probably scarier than the blood in it (it's also like my fav parts of the show. I love characters that have crazy moments haha). There's not really gore, so there's nothing to worry about there. It's considered 17+ but so is like everything with the slightest bit of blood?? It's pretty cool though, I would recommend it!

Nyan Koi is pretty cute! Yeah, I don't relate to Kyoko much at all. I always get stuck on the question of whether I would sacrifice myself for someone or not. I don't really know??? I can't picture a situation that I would need to sacrifice myself, and I guess it would depend on the situation? If I switch it to yes I get Sayaka, but if I say no I get Kyoko. I have trouble with those myers briggs personality tests too. After taking several of those free versions of the test, I think I'm ISFJ, which sounds a lot like me when I read the description of. I'm never really sure though :/
Sex scenes make me really uncomfortable. I adore romance in shows and movies and such, but sex scenes just make me uncomfortable. I love cute romance, but when it starts getting sexy I'm like nOPE. The main character is half human, half ghoul, so I guess that makes him really delicious, and omg this character is always sniffing a napkin with his blood on it and just being rlly creepy in general. I think the only show that made me cry was Anohana. I don't even know why; the ending wasn't sad, it was just really emotional and I cried a bit haha. I'm not a big crier. I get upset really easy, but I only cry over the dumbest of things.
Nyan Koi is one of those kinds of shows that never solves the love triangle, but it was going to maybe have a season two. I doubt it will now and after reading where the manga was at I doubt a second season even more. The manga isn't even where the anime is, so the anime just made some stuff up for the ending. And the manga doesn't really release regularly, or at least the translations don't. I don't know what they would do for a second season though since the main problem was solved and there's nothing else that's a problem except for who the main character will date and that's not enough to keep the series going. I hope the manga starts updating faster though ;-;
