Great work! I find his face very hard to draw for some reason, he just has such interesting features and proportions, but this is right on.

Thanks! You're right, his face is hard to get right, but I like the challenge of it. Especially the younger pictures of him, like this one, where he's even more angled. Have to admit though, the dark tones helped me 'flub' some bits, hehehe.

I think I see him that way in the Serenity/Firefly days, tbh. As he's matured the lines and angles on his face has changed, so I definitely think I air to the younger side when I'm working on Serenity/Firefly.

I did thought about Firefly/Serenity times when I said He looks too young. Not a lot but still.. He kind of looks like Simon in away because it's so smooth.

I totally see what you're saying, and I think the smoothness is part of my style, as I do tend to blend my skin tones as evenly as I can. I'll take a closer look at that choice in my next project(s). Thank you

My god, this is incredible. I love the pose and the lighting, and the whole attitude of this painting. That, plus the expression he has, completely nails the dark look you were going for right on the button. This really is amazing, great job on this! You should be proud!
