My colorful children, the three main characters for the second part of The Dragon's Grave (but not exactly a second part? It takes place when Airik is in his 40s- he plays a part but it's not really major at all.) Amer (red), Jasper (purple), and Sammy (blue), organized by height since Amer is 6'4, Jasper is 5'11, and Sammy is a stunning 5'6. The little shortie.

Sammy and Amer are childhood friends, kind of. Amer's a street rat whilst Sammy was in an orphanage and eventually Amer was in the same orphanage (Amer is nine years older than Sammy thus the kind of but they stick to each other like glue for the most part) When Sammy's 12 he finds Airik who after a year or so of pestering takes Sammy under his wing as a blacksmith apprentice (it takes a bit longer for Sammy to talk the grump into teaching him how to use swords.)

Amer is more of a guard for hire, stays in the same city but his job(s) are all over the place. When Sammy is 17 Amer gets hired by Jasper and after some deal making Jasper (whose a noble, rich little brat) funds Sammy's journey into knighthood (that he never really makes in the end) In the end Sammy does become an apprentice of a knight but he never becomes an official knight, in his early thirties he takes over Airik's blacksmith when the man dies.

Personality wise and what not- Sammy is my sweetest, purest child. Naive but not entirely stupid (he has the ever pessimistic Amer to level him out, the two are platonic soulmates pretty much. They even each other out- Amer is a horrible person in all honesty and Sammy is too nice for his own good. Jasper is just, the odd one out)

Jasper isn't wearing clothes because I wanted to draw his markings but he does have a beautiful outfit that I'm hoping to draw him in sometime soon. (I'll also be drawing Ghost and his new outfit too. Ugh, Ghost's story is changing in the middle and I dunno if that's a good thing or bad thing. Whatever it is it means I have to make new characters to fit the holes so I might take the lazy route and transfer characters from other stories)
