Description
Nebula never was good at making friends much to her mother's dismay. A bit ironic, to be frank. Princess Twilight tried to get her daughter to meet children her age all her childhood. It was preparing her to take the mantel as the peace bringer throughout Equestria. It never worked out however as Nebula was a shy antisocial filly that would rather watch her mom, Tempest train new recruits.
Things changed once Queen Celestia adopted a young unicorn by the name of Crystal Sparkler. Having a close filly in the royal family interested young Nebula and they started having weekly tea times and discussed magic and friendship.

"Hey Nebula?" Crystal asked one day. "Do you think I belong?"

"What do you mean?" Nebula looked at her friend with concern.

"Well, everyone else in the royal lines are related by blood, and I'm not..." she looked at the liquid in her cup wistfully. "I'm not suppose to be here.."

"Don't say that!" Nebula sat her teacup on the floor with enough force to make her point without breaking the fragile ceramic. "You fit in as much as me or Peace or Star or anyone!"

The light raspberry unicorn looked up unconvinced.

"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to meet new people or grow as a leader! You mean so much more to everyone than you think!"

Crystal signed and gave a gentle smile.

"Thanks Nebby,"
