I'm a bit confused, I thought Willow's parents weren't there?
Or were they in the house, just not at the party?

Wow~! Very nice comic so far~!

I really like your idea of Willow beying a young girl. Although I think she would be around, begin 20. I know as I read on google about her personality she has many things in common of a young girl. But a teddybear doesn't mean she is young since I know much people who still sleep with teddybears. Sametime she has a great survival instinct she really knowed how to make something. And about theΒ pyromania sickness she has, people can have it as well when things have been happening through their past which where very mean, cruel and hurtfull. (So did it in my storyline when her house went on fire and her parents died, because she survived it she started to have a huge bound with fire, more because she was afrai, maybe with therapie she can be helped).

For Wilson, I can see him as a adult from aroubnd the 22-23 years old, maybe 24-25. Β

Great storyline, good ages~! Very great art and text, good explainations, keep it up the great work~!

I think that Wilson said he would shave it if Willow would blow out the candles. That's my guess.

That is a nice twist on the story .

Well not nice but very unexpected , I like where this is going...I think.

Awesome comic, even though I prefer the idea of willow being late teenager (17-19) ish. With wilson being 30-35 in comparison. Dunno.

XD Yeah, I know a lot of people prefer her to be older, but I've done quite a bit of research on her character to try and place her age logically. The teddy bear in her character art, and the fact that most people with pyromania are adolescents.

I'm a bit surprised on your opinion of Wilson's age though, I'd think he'd be in his early to mid twenties. He doesn't have enough wrinkles or other signs of later aging when you compare him to the other characters (such as Wickerbottom's obvious age and Wolfgang's combover to hide his receding hairline.)

Legion-Commander In reply to GhostlyMuse [2013-06-20 08:45:29 +0000 UTC]

Well I think its because he is a scientist I suppose xD

But to be honest I havent looked into it very thouroughly so I am not adamant about his age.

I feel sorry for both Willow and Wilson. They both screwed up big time, Wilson not taking care of his dangerous household items, and Willow for stealing, but because of the unexpectedly horrible consequences, they both feel utterly miserable about it. Although, I dunno if it'd make sense for Willow to be so obsessed with fire now since it was her love of fire that killed her parents in the first place. I hope there's a logical explanation in there somewhere...

Also, Wilson's always looked better without his beard ^^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GhostlyMuse In reply to RaltheCommentator [2013-06-15 04:00:36 +0000 UTC]

Well, pyromania isn't like a 'willing' obsession. It's a mental disorder that can't really be controlled without treatment. It's like how some people wiggle their foot or continuously click a pen when nervous or excited, they don't really think about it, it just happens.

And (according to Wikipedia) a lot of individuals with pyromania tend to start fires out of impulse due to strong emotions, ie. to celebrate or to relieve stress.

And yes, Wilson looks so much better without the beard. =w= Although it is quite magnificent.

Yeah, so I would say that nowadays, Willow starts fires in an attempt to relieve stress or guilt. (Kind of like the same way that breaking things might relieve stress or anger).
