I started reaching this fanfic since early Thursday morning, and it's not 4:30am the next day. ;__; I'm on this exact chapter right now, and after Alfreds "death", Mattie being dead, and now Ivan...I just don't even have enough in me to cry any more. I'm just kind of just waiting for Alfred to die now to join his brother and lover. I've still got three chapters to go. It just seems to much more cruel, keeping him alive at this point, when everything has gone to hell.
SADDEST THING I'VE EVER READ. And this piece does such a good job illustrating this heartbreaking moment.

Well I hope you enjoyed the fanfic though!! It was definitely such a sad moment in the fic, but the ending was a nice ending, right? It was bittersweet, but at least it was hopeful and still in a happy tone! With no need for more deaths, right? ;w;

It was, very much so. It was such a beautiful fic. I definitely think it's my favorite ever for RusAme. Between the story and the authors writing style, I really enjoyed it. Not many pieces of writing can get me to cry like that. ;__; You know something has been really well done when two weeks after someone has finished reading they still reflect back to it.
