In Silent Hill Two, there's this hotel, on the shores of the fog-bound Lake Toluca, that you enter and find seemingly uninhabited, brooding and still. You can almost smell the cold and stale funk, the human occupants long gone; you alone in a grey-and-brown dominated place full of silence and dark corners. The kind of place offering no refuge from memory, whether fond or painful. This picture really took me back there. Thanks... really.

The entire series is amazing.
I love the mask..The darkness of it all.
It reminds me of Silent Hill or something.

Excellent series. I think the addition of a model to your urban shots works really well in this series, and could continue to work well for you if you continued working with models in the future.
I love the grunge effect in this, and how every crack and smear of dirt is visible. It really helps with the dark feel, and the way you can't see through the window but can't entirely make out the reflections either is wonderful.
Another aspect that attracts me to this is the positioning of the model. If they were looking to their left with their arms positioned by their side, they'd appear as if searching for someone after finding nothing in the house, interacting with the scene. But by interacting with the viewer instead, it's more of a macabre portrait, as if they're saying "hello, my name is so-and-so, and this is my home."
Still, congratulations on the DD, and credit to both you for taking such a wonderful shot and ~MyNameIsSwann for making such a beautiful mask. Well done!

I think I agree with you...although I mostly watch Korean films that feature the actor Song Kang Ho. He's just a genius!
