Backstory:
With all the magic put into making Opaline, her parents really did expect her to be a Magic user either alicorn or at least unicorn. Turns out pinky’s gens are a lot stronger than one would think, in terms of looks, Opaline‘s appearance fits right in with the rock loving family. She had all the makings to be a great unicorn student, to the point where twilight was actually considering using her magic to make her a alicorn herself. As a student understanding spells and Magic in general were very easy for her to the point where she was tutoring other unicorns, even though she was an earth pony herself.

But the thing is as Opaline got older the pressure alone made her stop studying magic, and then when she became good at earth science and caught the interest from the other side of her family, she stopped that as well. The only thing that no matter how much media attention praise and criticism for, she would consistently keep doing is making candy with her mother.

Opaline Is very studious like her mother twilight but longs to be as carefree as her other mother Pinky. The constant shift in want throws her into depressive spells (where her hair will deflate like pinkie pie) it got to the point where it was in her best interest to move to a small town. Opening up a small shop, she can do her craft without worrying how that will affect her family’s image on the latest news paper magazine.
