The one thing I know how to really do well, it's the eyes and expression. It's one of the reasons why I love focusing on the face a lot and doing portraiture rather than full body image.
You kinda lose the expression doing a full body image. I know that's what happens to me unless I make the head huge.

I would like a chance to actually work on my own characters more and get a chance to show what I can really do. Alas I have been strained due to work and things I owe. I do not mind, but hope that soon I may be able to work on my own things again and even get a chance to do something cool for friends like yourself and others. But I love seeing your work, I truly do.

Ah so those protrusions on the cheekbones sticks out some. I always assumed they were attached directly to the skin entirely.

They are attached to him.
That's actually the biosyntech muscle showing through the skin.
The biosyntech muscle is blue and the chitin tendons that branches over it like vines is silver.

Kiryuu Knight's background is a bit long.
So I did my best to make an abridge version for this image...
There are stories. The very first story ever written about him was something I did in 2002, and several years later, I posted it up here.
Mature Content
That is the first story. And there are others. Actually there's 40+ stories in total that revolve around him and various other characters that are a part of his universe.
I an created a cast of characters for the stories. And it's less about Kiryuu being in fact the original Gojira trapped in a biomechanical body, and more about Kiryuu the artificial intelligence, the businessman (kaiju), the politician, the intergalactic ambassador, and protector of the galaxy from King Ghidorah.
King Ghidorah is the main villain of the 40+ stories, and who is also NOT like he is in the movies. King Ghidorah, like Kiryuu, is complicated.

I haven't seen Godzilla x Mechagodzilla. The Godzilla series just wasn't my thing. Though I did see the 2014 movie and I found that somewhat enjoyable.
