Description
I went away for a few days to a mountain retreat in the heart of the Lake District (England) and I had a great time. One of the highlights of this trip was handling a Bald eagle
. It was such a beautiful bird and luckily I had my posh camera on me to take some photos. I took around 240 photos on that trip...here is just one (but I am contemplating creating a new DA account for my photography).

Absolutely gorgeous! I didn't realize you had bald eagles over in England! Such a beautiful, sacred creature. Our belief is that the eagle is a messenger which carries our prayers to Creator, because he flies higher than all the other birds. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you! and this is a bald eagle that is semi-wild it was at a rescue/rehabilitation center (we only have eagles here in the wild). I loved holding this animal as well it was a beautiful moment
