Positives:

Optimistic: Smokywoods will almost always try and look at the bright side in every situation. Barely scraped by on food for the clan? Well, this’ll just incentivise the warriors to hunt harder! Got in a disagreement with another warrior? This’ll be a great opportunity to practice your communication skills!Entire home flooded by record-high rainfalls? ...This one is a bit tougher, but he’ll think of something.

Agreeable: Although it’s kind of impossible, he wants to get along with everyone he comes across. He’s a big believer in the art of the compromise, and even cats that seem irredeemable can, in his eyes, be given a second chance.

Genuine: One of the few things that really gets to Smoky is dishonesty. He’ll almost always tell the truth, and find himself hard pressed lying to another cat.

Emotional: This trait speaks for itself. If it’s on the spectrum of emotion, Smoky feels it.

Intense: As a follow-up to emotional; not only does he feel those emotions, he feels them intensely. A great hunting session can make his entire day wonderful and erase any of the woes he may have been feeling. On the flip side, a harsh comment that really got to him can ruin his entire day, making him just laze around over-analysing it.

Familial: He wants to get along with everyone, but will always prioritize family. Family can mean literal blood relatives, such as Mistysoul(who belongs to Noctuus ), but it can also mean found family- cats who’ve proven to be loyal and uplifting that he would happily call his family regardless of blood.

Negatives:

Abrupt: Smokywoods is the cat to shake you awake in the middle of the night because he made a brilliant discovery on a tree branch that forms a bridge to another tree. If he has an idea, or something really grabs his interest, it’s all he thinks about and whatever happens next just happens. The next is usually something impulsive that could have taken more thought, or interrupting another cat who wasn’t prepared.

Over-reactive: In the same vein as intense, but more on the negative side. Smoky can easily hyper-fixate on bad events and happenings and fall down the rabbit hole of over-thinking, and decide to just hibernate inside camp and brood. Even his own obnoxious optimism cannot save him from this sometimes.

Credulous: In other words, naive. Being so optimistic and trusting can have its downsides, and it wouldn’t be hard for some charismatic cat with bad intentions to take advantage.

Description:

Smokywoods is a little bit shorter and a little bit chubbier than the average cat. He has dark fur all over with a darker tabby-pattern, but his paws and belly are painted with an almost shimmery white. His most notable features are his cropped tail, typical of his breed, and the white lines under his eyes which mimic the appearance of short white lashes.
