Description Reference series part 8.

Wasn't sure what to do for number 8 but I started playing this again and decided to try drawing Aeos again. Last time was a long while back and it didn't really capture what I found to be the most beautiful qualities of this particular planet.

Still need to work on the surface quality of stone and other non-organic surfaces. I tried not to overwork this one though, so I left some of the details are a little rough. Hope it looks okay.

This makes me feel very happy. The colours came out fantastic and the characters really add to the whole environment, being able to feel like its a vast place, exploring it, adventure awaits.ย

Funny how some games are like that, you just like a particular place, with its environment. Maybe that is why I am so insanely fond of Skyrim and can just run around for hours doing utterly nothing, because I just like...the...scenery? ย

Yeah, even though I had issues with Skyrim's character building and skill set, it was definitely my favorite environment of all the games so far. Of course with Aeos it was also the music.

When doing environment pieces, the characters are not that important, in the sense that you can just sketch them a bit and it'll work. Seen lots of industry artists doing that.ย

Yep, just need to learn not to make them distractingly awkward. I've also seen that they often use dramatic lighting tactics to make them barely noticeable; more element than figure. *__*

Really nice, especially the sky. In general, I despise the colour blue, but the sky you painted is lovely. I really love the colours.

Wonderful! You keep getting better and better at drawing backgrounds and environments. The colors are so vibrant, and Reimi's shadow looks really nice~ Also, it's always nice to see SO fanart. ยดv`

Thanks so much! I made some new brushes using stuff from the new version of Sketchbook on my new phone and there are a lot of great ones for plants.

No kidding. XD I'm playing through on Universe this time (just so I have time to beat up the enemies before they get blown to hell XD ). I always found the main game more enjoyable than post game.
