Description
Having finally reached the point writing Excidium where Ezalier becomes a part of the story, so the time has come to redesign his weapon based on what I know about it now. It badly needed to be redone.

This shows a deconstructed version with the artificial core(right) the glaive that houses it, and then the Lucerna or Lamp, that the glaive sits inside. Each torch has four Lucernas which can detach and be deployed separately when casting, and used independently as tools.
