This is a horrible strip. Too much detail, too wordy, too vague, too much shading... But I posted it anyway just for the sake of full disclosure and a little bit of self-disillusionment.
And I've got more sub-standard work to post here in scraps as well! Yahoo! Anyway, I apologize in advance...

I don't agree with you at all, I think it all fits very well together.
Also, I have no idea what the marsian is doing in that last panel, but it makes me want to take him home.
