Description Angel Series #3

The idea for this angel came to me out of the blue. I tried different ideas, different tactics, but nothing came to mind as to what to do for this one. Then and idea came to me, why not have four wings, two bottom and two top? I have seen art with four wings and stuff, so I figured why not.

Destiny must be fulfilled. Each person has a purpose, a path that must be tread. Though the path you take is your own, the Angel of Destiny makes sure that what is suppose to happen happens. Destiny cannot be skipped, what is going to happen happens. From the small aspects of life to devastating disasters, destiny is fulfilled. Sometimes destiny is for the better, sometimes for the worst, but not matter which path it takes, big or small, the outcome of it all leads in the advancing of life.

Nice design. It reminds me of a butterfly.

Why thank you. I personally like this image more then the rest, for it was more challenging, yet a lot of fun to figure out. I did get frustrated with it at one point, but it was resolved and I moved on.

Butterfly? I have not heard that before.

I'm weird like that. I sometimes see stuff that others haven't thought of.

Thank you. I really enjoyed working on this series. It was fun, and it helped in the understanding of a few features in PhotoShop I did not know.

nice idea, looks great!

Hey, try to copy the layer with the wings and use gaussian blur (2-5 depends on the original resolution),
the but this layer over the original layer and set its opacity (alpha-channel) to somethin between 25-50%,
that should soften the edges a little!

Thanks for the complement. As for trying to fix it up now, it is a little late for that. Because I do not have the working file left. I already deleted it. I know that I should keep them, but once I feel like I am finished, I save them as a JPEG and delete the working file. Stupidity on my part.

I will keep that idea in mind however for my future works.

You can do it with the jpeg too, just duplicate the jpeg in ps instead of the original art.

Thank you for the help. And I tried it, but it did not help at all. The edges are still the same. Oh well. I can cope with it as it is.

I made this in PhotoShop 7.0. As for the edges, I tried many different things, but could not get them any better then what they alread are. So, I had to just deal with them like that. Oh well.
