HP Spell Emoticon #1I had fun working on this one. It did take some time to get the through and the catch, not to mention the flight of the ball, too look somewhat right. I still feel that the throw could use a little more work, and I also feel that the ball flight is a little slow. What do you all think?

Summoning charm. It is used to make objects fly straight to the spell caster.

Only a few things right have been edited at this time. The "boarder" of the emote has been changed so that it is not solid black, but a darker shade of his / her color. The same applies to the ball.
Also, this is now the 1st in the HP Spell Emoticon series (instead of the 2nd).

I love Harry Potter! Personally, I think the throw could use some work likeyou said, but other than that, it's super awesome! I myself would have gone with a beam flying out of the wand and to the ball and then th ball returning to the emote... but thats just me!

When i saw the first one of your little hp emotes i though, "wow that is an awsome idea, i wonder if he'll do an entire series"

The only thing i would fix in this one would be when he blinks, its a little slow.

Absolutely fantastic animation 
I think the throwing part could be perfected just a bit, like the above comment by ~Roko-Epsilon said, but apart from that minor detail it's an incredible, smooth, and well animated emote. Great movement of the ball and emote.

I know about the throw. It is bothering me as well. I am currently playing around with it, but as of right now, it looks like his hand magically dissapears and appears again with the ball thrown.

Ooh, and let me try to be helpful for once. The motion that he does while he's throwing the ball isn't one that would make it go that far. There's more of an up movement of his hand then a lateral movement, and that would result in the ball going in a more vertical direction. So the hand should move more to the side than it is during the throw. 
I think the ball's actual flight is fine, though.

Actually, that is what I was thinking as well. Currently, the angle of his hand movement does not coincide with the ball flight. Since I like how the ball flight is, I will just have to work on the hand angle.

Ok, maybe the throwing could use a little more work, but the flight of the ball ish just about right, if it were any faster, it wouldn't be as cute ^.^!

No problem. I think, maybe if you kind of bring the arm down like he's following through, maybe it'd help? I think it would, actually, because, you can't really get a ball to go very far if you stop and don't follow through.

Well, the important thing is that you enjoyed it, and it shows in your work ('cause you did a good job xD).
I had no clue it was possible to make emoticons in Image Ready O_o of course, I never used it...but I have it...maybe I should give it a try xD Know any good tutorials?

And just to clarify something, I did not make the emoticon in ImageReady. I made it in PhotoShop, then animated it in ImageReady.

I do not. Sorry. You could take a look at pixel3life . They have many tutorials there. I basically learned too use it by playing with it. Just like PhotoShop, the more you play with it, the more you will learn and experience.
