Thank you for this map!
I am reading these books again - now with my son, and I it would be wonderful to have / make a map to see Garions travels... Story is a bit complex to start with... so that kind of a map would give a clue...

Nice map, very beautiful textures. Just one thing that i can tell, though.Β Seems you forgot the huge single mountain which looms over the city of Kell in southern Mallorea.

This map is just... woaw... I mean... amazing! I've known the books for years, but this is the first time I actually see a map that manages to make me want to read them all over again! Awesomely well done, Gidde!

I't amazing... how did you do it? Photoshop, Campign Cartographer, 3D Programs? The mountains and the water seems so real, especially the waves

I love these books, and your rendition of the world is very well done. I especially like the mountains: how do you do them so well?

This is my favorite fantasy series by far and I have been looking for a beautiful map of that world! And I found it! Simply stunning.

Hi Gidde. I have read the Belgariad and the Mallorean twice and i love them.
I really like your map. I'd like to have a printout in my apartment. Can I somehow get the big version of it? Hopefully, michael.mayr@me.com

Good job! Check out mine: [link]
Did you have to piece several maps together too, or did you find a complete one?

Gidde In reply to Crooty [2011-02-09 13:33:56 +0000 UTC]
I had to piece together a LOT of different ones. It was a job getting them all scaled the same!

Agreed! It made it really tough to make it one cohesive map. Still, well worth the effort. Eddings was a genius.
