haven't uploaded anything anime in ages...so i thought it was about time to update my annual alucard piece... its been almost 6 years since i last drew him...
i feel drawing alucard nowadays seems to be a way for me to gauge how far i've come in terms of my drawing skill.
still haven't watched hellsing ultimate #8~
have to get around to doing it soon....
but here's the Lord of Undeath in the meantime!

I loved Alucard to bits but the thought of him totally freaked me out. I was always waiting, expected him to turn on his 'masters' in some way and if he did, this would be the last thing they saw. So, so precisely Alucard, it's frigteningly spot on.

hmm.... with regards to turning on his masters.... i could never see him turning on integra.
maybe it's also because alucard sees integra as his equal.... in temperment if anything else.... XD

You did a really good job at capturing Alucard's madness... that grin and the bugging eyes. Heh.
Nice work! I still love the scene in the Anime where Integra is actually amused that Anderson
cut off Alucard's head and is foolish enough to think that will be the last of the No-Life King.

i think they did that whole fight between alucard and anderson better in the OVA though... the animation was excellent!

I love both the original Hellsing and the Ultimate version. They both have their
good points, their little quirks. And the fact the first Hellsing Anime was one
of the first Animes I watched, I have a soft spot for it. (Not to mention Alucard
is bloody brilliant, whichever version you watch!)

I think it would be a coin toss for me, which theme I like more;
Hellsing or Neon Genesis Evangelion. They both have such memorable
opening themes.
