Not the ones I have seen on people. Some do yes, most don't.
But if you wish this one to do countours: Think shoulder, as in it starts on the shoulder and then runs down the arm, could work - no?

What I ment was traditional tribal, alot of people seem to have no inkling of the origin of their tattoo style and simply want a tribal tattoo because 'they're cool'... Nothing wrong with that, I just think if your doing something you gotta do it right.

I all fairness the stuff I make are like I stated with the celtic knot one: "mock" as in it imitates, since I am not a Celt and they dont conform to the traditional celtic knots.
Same goes for the "random tribals" since I do not belong to some aboriginey tribe, or any other tribe out there - these are just mocks that are created by me out of the fact that I made a shape, I liked the shape, and thus published the shape and submitted it here.
If I was to go tribal I would probably hit closer to home and go original by doing it in the manner of the "bushmen" back home (Cave paintings and the like) or something in that region.
I do understand where you are coming from though it is the same as the fad that people have whom are obsessed with shirts or tattoos with chinese/japanese symbols - If they don't do the research how will they know that the sign they ink onto themselves truely means what they think it means? (Good example: friend of mine has a shirt with the chinese symbol for Pimp on it - we found out what the symbol meant by accident, was a rather big surprise for him though
