Description
Made for the May 4th celebration of Alice from the 1951 Disney movie. It's also Alice Liddell's, the original Alice, birthday so I thought it'd be perfect to use the cake.

I wanted to be careful about what I chose to gif though because there were already so many gifs of the Unbirthday scene. I also wanted it to be 500 pixels wide and in as much high quality I could manage. Eventually I chose only a handful of frames that I thought weren't commonly giffed (less is more sometimes!).

I don't think I messed with the color much. I usually at least do levels and contrast layers. Mary Blair's designs for the film already make the backgrounds dark compared to the characters; I didn't need to change it much.

I'm still really bad with font choices and I've been trying to practice. That said, I think the font I chose for "Happy Birthday" is just fine but maybe a little too boring. I like the font I chose for Alice's name. Then I gave it a glow, something I hadn't tried on a gif before.

I don't normally put watermarks but I did on this as people like reposting these gifs yearly.
