Description
I had an idea for a while that if I were to do Jack Savage and Skye, I wanted them to be cops at the ZPD, enrolling after Nick and Judy. Skye would have some history with Nick (I hadn't decided what kind) while Jack would be Judy's cousin (hence the 'Hopps' on the nametag). I never wound up exploring the idea further but I did draw it. So, here they are: Cop Jack and Skye!

Yeah, I took a closer look at Byron Howard's artwork and it was clear that Skye wasn't an arctic fox, at least to me. The exact type of fox is left unclear (it could be one of a number of different species with blonde/golden fur) but I opted to go with 'leucistic red fox'.

You know, I always wondered why no one in the fandom can reach a consensus on Skye's fur color. Sometimes she's shown as having Snow-white fur, others as Golden-yellow, yet we all immediately recognize her as Skye

It is strange, especially since there are two concept pieces of Byron Howard's out there that show her with the golden-yellow fur colour. It's gotten to the point where AioRemArt's character of Cynthia is commonly mistaken for Skye.

Ah, my second favorite Zootopia canon that came from Disney (as the rest are OC's and Zoosona pairiings). You did great work on drawing these two here. Warm expressions and they look fantastic!!
