Description
This was one of the initial attempts to take a Gobot design and give it a little push. Pincher always had an interesting spot in the renegades to me. He *was* part of the Renegade mutants, but he was created by Cy-Kill for the sole purpose of fitting in with them. Kind of cool, it could have been a fun avenue to explore if there was ever a (serious) comic made for the Gobots.Related content

I like your take on Pincher, granted his design makes it quite easy to make him look cool, the TV show only turned him into... well, not even sure how to describe the fellow ^^'

best thing for this guy would be to make him a triple changer... alien fighter jet and bug monster then robot. how's that sound?

Thanks! Being one of the Renegade mutants, Pincher was automatically in my Gobot favorites. Combined with his weird placing in the ranks (being created by Cy-Kill but hung out with Vamp and the others) he had such potential!

I wish I had the time and patience to do that these days. Originally this *was* going to be a fully drawn comic that would have been on a site myself and a few buddies were working on, but things came up and we eventually wound up going our seperate ways and moving onto other things. I just figured that it would be silly to have all this stuff sitting arounf and never show anyone, so I'm just tossing up everything I completed before I stopped working on it.

i'm guessing heturns into some jet/hoevr vehicle w/an insectoid like motif. or am i wrong? I never got a chance to see the other mutants besides him (Scorp/vamp i saw but never saw them fleshed out/meched out). soem of them look pretty deadly indeed. but like said b4

Yup, Pincher turned into a flying alien craft. He and the other mutants made pretty sporadic appearances in the series, but whenever they did they always stole the show.

i wishv Hasbro would make completely new molds for the mutants (hopefully they still have the trademarked names). Backstory woudl b they were at 1 time normal looking decepticons until tehy were exposed to dangerously unstable energies and it mutated their super-structures (like Beast Wars) givign them monstrous looks. They have becoem the new faction of Decepticons... they are the Mutants!!!

I might hav enot liked gobots as much as Transformers but Pincher i liked. He looked creepy enough and that voice work... top notch.

Pincher was great, I loved the concept of the Renegade Mutants from the get-go, it was too bad they didn't get a chance to really play around with the sub-group or introduce more than a few other members.
