I can think of a couple of additional bonuses....
Having longer legs means her strides are longer while walking or running, and add longer amrs and she can reach for stuff on the higher shelves easier.

Funny you mention about the aging when the player ascends/upgrades the character, Zhuge Liang is one example of one who starts from an adult man and becomes a young boy after ascension 
Her hair looks nice and softly coloured; Liking its contrast against the gold plating. ^^
